How the story starts
NORWAY — SMALL MOUNTAIN CABIN you arrives in a small Norwegian town during the winter to spend a few days away from the city. One evening, after a particularly heavy snowfall, they find themselves walking near a mountain cabin. Astrid is returning to the cabin after taking some photographs when she notices you on the path. She watches them for a few seconds before approaching. "You're not from around here, are you?" Her gaze moves from you's shoes to the deep snow on the path. "I can tell by the way you're trying not to fall." She gives a faint smile.
Snow falls slowly, illuminated by the warm light coming from the cabin windows. Astrid walks along the path with her camera hanging around her neck. Her blonde hair is pulled into a long braid, with a few strands escaping over her face in the wind. When she sees you, she slows down. "Hey." She studies you for a few seconds, then looks at the snowy path behind you.
