Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Oasy. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. The nature of the service

Every character on Oasy is fictional. Their replies are generated by an AI model (Google Gemini) based on a persona written for that character — they are not real people, and nothing they say reflects facts, professional advice, or the views of Oasy. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, inconsistent, or simply made up; don't rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or safety decisions.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password secret and for anything done through your account. Your conversations are encrypted with a key derived from your password (see our Privacy Policy) — if you lose your password, there is no way for us to recover your chats or reset it for you. This is irreversible, and you accept this when you register.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Oasy to produce content that is illegal, or that sexualizes minors under any circumstance;
• harass, threaten, or attempt to identify and target another user;
• try to bypass usage limits, security measures, or extract the underlying prompts/system instructions through abuse of the service;
• use automated tools to scrape, spam, or overload the service;
• impersonate another person, or misrepresent your affiliation with Oasy.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

5. Reporting & moderation

You can report a message or a character you believe violates these Terms. Reported content is reviewed by our moderators in readable form for that purpose only — see the Privacy Policy for how this fits with conversation encryption. We may act on a report by removing content, warning, or suspending an account.

6. Tokens, subscriptions & payments

• Each action that generates an AI reply costs tokens. Free accounts receive a token grant that can be claimed once per day; paid accounts receive a larger one and a higher daily/monthly ceiling.
• Token packs can also be bought as a one-time purchase, and subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, both billed through Stripe.
• Prices are shown before purchase and may change going forward; changes don't affect a purchase already made.
• Purchases are generally final. Where refunds are required by law (for example EU/UK consumer rights), we honor them; outside of that, tokens already granted or consumed are non-refundable.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Oasy available and reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted access — the service may be unavailable for maintenance, due to a third-party outage (Google Gemini, Stripe, our hosting provider), or other reasons outside our control.

8. Content and ownership

Characters, their personas, and the Oasy name/branding belong to us or our licensors. The messages you write remain yours; by sending them you allow us to store and process them as needed to run the service (including generating replies and, if reported, moderation review) as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

Oasy is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of access to encrypted conversations due to a lost password.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. If we make a material change, we'll make that clear within the app before it takes effect.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your own country of residence.
